You almost couldn’t have missed it… This seminar has a very special guest: Simon Sinek! He will do a keynote, Q&A and interview led by Nadia Moussaid. A unique opportunity to learn all the ins and outs of his view on leadership. This, combined with all the other great speakers will make for an amazing day!

Car route
Take the A1/A2/A4 towards Amsterdam. On the A10 (West) take exit S102 (towards Westpoort/Centrum). Then follow 'Transformatorweg', which runs over the viaduct into 'Spaarndammerdijk'. Take the left hand lane and turn left at the traffic lights, onto 'Archangelweg'. Then straight on, taking the 5th right turn onto the Koivistokade. You will then see Theater Amsterdam’s car park on your right, after the bus station.

There is a parking garage next to Theater Amsterdam. The entrance is located at the crossroad of the Koivistokade/Minervahavenweg (postal code 1013AP) in Amsterdam. We will provide you with an exit ticket for this parking garage. You can get them during the breaks at the information desk.

Public Transport
Prefer a stress and traffic free journey? We recommend travelling to Amsterdam by public transport. The total travel time from Amsterdam CS to Theater Amsterdam is about 15 minutes.

From Amsterdam Central Station, take bus 48 or 248 and get out at bus stop 'Koivistokade'. From this point it takes around 2 minutes to walk to the entrance of Theater Amsterdam. Buses 48 and 248 depart from the IJ-side of Amsterdam Central Station. For arrival/departure times of buses 48 and 248 see www.9292.nl

OV-fiets (rent a bike)
Another possibility is to rent an OV-bike from NS at Amsterdam Central Station. It takes about 12 minutes to cycle to Theater Amsterdam. Click here for more info.

Can I bring my bag?
Yes, you can. But we recommend travelling light. We will provide everything you need during the seminar.

Can I store my luggage?
Yes, you can leave your bag at our guarded cloakroom (free of charge). Alternatively, it’s possible to rent a locker in the east wing of the Amsterdam Central Station (Small / big locker: €7 / €10 per 24h).


What time does the seminar start? What if I don’t make it?
The seminar will start at exactly 10:30. Doors to the auditorium open at 10:00. We ask you kindly to be there on time. If you arrive after the seminar start, one of our crew members will guide you to a free seat.

At what time am I welcome?
Theater Amsterdam opens it’s doors for you at 09:00. At the entrance you can register at the registration desks with your e-ticket (on your phone or printed). Afterwards we’ll welcome you with tea, coffee and something sweet.

What time does the seminar end? Can I leave earlier?
The program ends at 18:30. The reception starts right away with drinks and ‘bitterballen’. Of course you can leave at any time you want, but we promise you that the entire program will be evenly great. So you wouldn’t want to miss anything?

What time does Sinek speak?
Simon Sinek will give a 30 minute keynote + 30 minute Q&A on his new book The Infinite Game, which starts around 13:15. After this there will be a ‘fire side chat’ (45 minutes) between Simon Sinek and Nadia Moussaid about Sinek’s view on leadership. Can I ask Simon Sinek a question?
Yes you can! One part of the program is a Q&A session with Sinek. This session is based on questions of the attendees. Every attendee gets the change to submit questions/themes in advance. You will receive information about this by email. Our moderator will select the best questions.

Is it possible to only attend the part with Sinek?
Of course! But to be honest: that would be a shame. The rest of the program is just as amazing. It is full of inspiring and bright experts who’ll share extremely valuable lessons with you. You wouldn’t want to miss that.

Which other speakers will join the program besides Simon Sinek?
We have a few magnificent guest speakers. You can find the full line-up and program in the brochure and the seminar page.

What’s the main language of the seminar?
Because of Simon Sinek and our international attendees, the main language will be English. We will not offer translations to Dutch.

Will we receive the handouts of the speakers? 
If speakers allow us to share the handouts of their presentations with you, we'll send them to you in a follow-up email after the seminar.


When will I get Simon's book?
Right at the entrance of the seminar you will receive your copy of Simon Sineks newest book 'The Infinite Game'. You can choose between a Dutch or English version.

Will there be food and drinks?
The program includes two breaks of ca. 50 minutes. All catering is included. We will provide plenty of (vegetarian) quality food to make sure you have full energy and focus during the seminar. In both breaks you can order as much coffee, tea and soda as you like.

I have special needs (allergies, visually impaired, disabled)
We’ll be glad to help you. Please send us an e-mail at customercare@denkproducties.nl and we’ll make sure to find the best solution for you. If you have dietary restrictions, please let us know before October 21st. Note: we will make sure there are enough vegetarian options, so you don't need to send an email for this.

Do you take dietary requests into account? 
Yes, you can send your requests to customercare@denkproducties.nl. You can do this up to two weeks before the start of the seminar (October 21st at the latest). We will try to meet your requests as well as possible. 

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, of course. Please let us know beforehand so we can reserve a spot for you and make sure one of our crew members guides you to the auditorium.

What should I bring to the seminar?
Travel light! You don’t need to bring anything, except for your e-ticket. For coats and bags there will be a guarded cloakroom, free of charge.

How can I get my Permanent Education points?
If you are eligible for PE-points, you can check in at one of the registration desks during your check in. Note: it’s your own responsibility to check out at the end of the day at the registration desks, so don’t forget!

Do we receive the handouts of the speakers?
If speakers allow us to share the handouts of their presentations with you, we'll send them to you in a follow-up email after the seminar.

How many people will be attending the seminar?
We expect around 1195 attendees.

That’s a lot! Will I still have good view of the stage?
Yes, you will. Theater Amsterdam has the biggest screen you’ve ever seen and a great seating plan which guarantees a good view of the stage, no matter where you sit. You won’t be provided with a seat number, so you can choose your own seat. The only exception are the reserved VIP and partner seats. Check out the venue here. 

Who else will attend?
We see attendees from all over the Netherlands and beyond. They work at multinationals, government organizations, family businesses, schools, start-ups, scale-ups or at their own company. So... basically anything! Curious? Go to the Facebook event and press 'join' to see who else is coming!

Do I get a seat number?
You will not receive a seat number. You can choose where you want to sit when you enter the venue. There's one exception: attendees with a VIP ticket receive a reserved spot on the best seats in the room. All seats have a good view on the stage. The seminar is completely sold out, which means it is important that you leave no empty seats between you and other attendees. Every seat will be taken. 

Can I sit next to my colleague?
If you arrive together on time, you can find a seat next to each other.

Can I ask for a photo or signature with Simon Sinek?
Yes you can! During the afternoon break from 15:30 till 16:15, Simon Sinek will sign books in the lobby. However, due to the limited amount of time we can’t guarantee that every attendee will be able to have their book signed.

Can I meet Simon privately or ask him to speak at my company?
No, there are no possibilities to honor these requests. Simon has a very busy schedule and right after the seminar he’ll continue his trip to Spain.

Can I interview Simon Sinek?
This is decided by Simon Sineks team. Send your interview request to media@denkproducties.nl. We will collect all requests and send them to Sinek's team. You'll receive an email on September 1st at the earliest.

How long does Simon Sinek speak during the seminar?
Simon Sinek is programmed in block 2 and will be on stage for approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.


How do I pay?
You will receive your invoice within 5 business days after your registration. Didn't receive anything? Please check your spam folder. The invoice should be paid within 14 days. Payments are only possible by bank transfer. We can't facilitate payments with creditcard, debit card or iDeal. If you have any questions about your invoice or payment, send an email to our financial department: finance@denkproducties.nl. Or contact us via +3120 - 3033 820.

What is the payment deadline?
Please make sure your invoice is paid within 14 business days after receiving the invoice. If your invoice is not paid before the seminar we can't guarantee your seat.

Do the prices on the website include VAT?
No, the prices exclude 21% VAT. DenkProducties is VAT liable and can't apply VAT free prices to the tax authorities.  

Do I receive a confirmation of my registration? 
Yes. You receive a confirmation immediately after registering. One week before the seminar you'll receive practical information and travel details.

I want to visit this seminar with a group of more than 20 people, how do I register?
Send an email to Godfried Dorssers via godfried@denkproducties.nl. He's happy to help you and together with you he'll look at how we can be of best service to your group. Update: all tickets for the seminar are sold out!

Can I get a discount as a student or as a non-profit organization?
The the only discounts we give are group discounts. Update: all tickets for the seminar are sold out!

What extras do I get with a VIP ticket?
With a VIP ticket you'll obviously get the best seats in the house. Furthermore you get access to an exclusive session with Simon Sinek. In this extra session Simon will share his ideas about the crucial question of many leaders and entrepreneurs: 'How can I find the 'why' for myself, my team and my organization?'. In a moderated conversation, Simon will share his vision and will answer your personal questions. This session takes place from 17.00 till 17.45 pm. There are only 60 spots available (update: sold out!).

I can't registrate for a VIP ticket via the registration form, do you still have spots available?
All tickets for Purpose Driven Leadership are sold out!

Do I get a ticket, and if so, when?
Yes, you will receive an e-ticket with QR-code via email, 1 day before the seminar at the latest. You can print this ticket or show it on your phone at the registration counters on the 4th of November.


Can I interview Simon Sinek?
On this short notice it's not possible to apply for an interview with Simon Sinek. We have however a few seats available for press. Send your request to media@denkproducties.nl. We will make a selection of all the applications and let you know.

Can I receive a press example of his new book?
That is possible. We are happy to refer you to the Dutch publisher of Simon Sinek: Business Contact. You can email your request to Femke Bilderbeek via fbilderbeek@atlascontact.nl.

What do you pay Simon Sinek?
Unfortunately, we can't share this information.

Can we attend the seminar as press?
You can, we have a couple spots available for the press. Send your request to media@denkproducties.nl.


Replacement: There is always a possibility to send someone in your place, free of charge. Please send us an email with the personal details of the person replacing you: (sur)name, title, email address and company. You can send this to customercare@denkproducties.nl.

Credit: It's also possible to convert your ticket into a credit. This credit is valid for one year and can be used for any other DenkProducties seminar. You will choose a seminar from our calender that best matches your wishes and let us know through email. You can apply for a credit by sending us an email at customercare@denkproducties.nl. Note: the only other English spoken seminar is Geraffineerd Onderhandelen.

Cancellation: Cancelling your registration is possible up to one week before the seminar Purpose Driven Leadership. Note that we charge administration costs of €150,- (excluding VAT). To cancel, sent us an email at customercare@denkproducties.nl. It is unfortunately not possible to cancel within 1 week before the seminar. In this case we wil charge the entire amount of your ticket. It's always possible to send a replacement or apply for a credit (see options above).
