Tickets

How do I get access to the event?
If you registered for Amsterdam Business Forum, you will receive an e-ticket. This ticket will be scanned at the entrance of AFAS Live. Did you register and not receive an e-ticket? Contact our staff at customercare@denkproducties.nl and we will resend it.

I registered but am unable to attend
You can always let somebody else take your place. Just let this person show up with your ticket and we will take care of it.

In addition: all attendees will get 90 days on demand access to the recordings of all stage talks. So you can still get everything that is shared on stage.

 

Access

How do I get to the venue?
The most relaxed way is: by train. AFAS Live is only a two minute walk from Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena Station. If you travel by car, parking P6 is the best one. Followed by P1, P3, P4 & P5. There will be a reduced event rate for our attendees.Since we are fans of using public transport, we do not reimburse parking costs. 

Do I get a parking voucher?
We are supporters of traveling with public transport, so we do not reimburse parking expenses. However, you can get a reduced parking fee (p1, p2, p3, p4, p5 & p6) by pressing the ‘event button’ at the parking machine upon leaving.

Can I leave the venue?
Yes, you can leave the venue for some fresh air during the breaks. You will need to show your badge to get back in. And our staff may ask for your e-ticket.

Where is my seat?
You can choose your own seat. Regular ticket holders have free seating at the stands. VIP ticket holders have marked resevered seats on the ground floor. So if you attend the seminar with a colleague, be sure to enter the Main Stage room together.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, of course. Please let us know beforehand so we can reserve a spot for you and make sure one of our crew members guides you to the Main Stage Hall.

What time should I be there?
Our doors will open at 08.30. Main Stage program will kick off at 09.30 (sharp!) but some side events require that you are there at 09.00. Our advice: try to arrive between 08.30 and 09.00. There is coffee.

Do you have a cloakroom?
We have lockers for each attendee. Free of charge.

Can I bring my bag?
You can, but our advice is: travel light. We have all the materials you need for the day: water bottle, notebook pen etc. All on the house.

Where is the VIP stage?
The VIP stage is in the VIP area, backstage. You will receive a floor plan when you check in. And our hosts will show you if you can’t find it.

Where are the C-suite sessions?
The C-suite sessions are also in the VIP area, backstage. You will receive a floor plan when you check in. And our hosts will show you if you can’t find it.

Where are the Learning Circles?
The Learning Circles are in Restaurant First on the first floor of the AFAS Live lobby. You will receive a floor plan when you check in. And our hosts will show you if you can’t find it.

Where is the Culture Track?
We have arranged a special area (Jinso) just outside AFAS Live for the Culture Track. It’s only a 2-minute walk. As you exit the main entrance, you’ll find it on your right-hand side. You will receive a floor plan when you check in. And our hosts will show you if you can’t find it.

Can I still take part in VIP sessions – C-suites – Learning Circles – Culture Track?
These 4 sessions require pre-registration, so it is not possible to join them on the spot.

What is the program for regular ticket holders during the break?
Regular ticket holders have access to our second stage: the Fireside Stage. With conversations with 5 of our speakers. And the option to submit your own question,

 

Talks

Will all talks be in English?
Yes, the entire seminar program will be English spoken.

Do I get the recordings of all talks?
Yes, you will get access to the recordings of all talks on Main Stage and Fireside Stage and VIP Stage. 90 days on demand.

Do I get slides/handouts?
We will make sure you get an XXL amount of bonus materials. All the recordings, blog summaries, visual recaps. And if speaker allow us to share their slides: the handouts.

Can I take pictures?
Yes you can. Make sure to look pretty ????

Where do I find my personal program?
You will receive a badge at the entrance, this has a QR code with your personal program.

Can I ask questions to the speakers?
Yes you can, to some of the speakers. Not all. 5 Speakers will do a Q&A session on our Fireside stage. You can submit your questions in Slido, for those speakers: Open www.slido.com and use the code: #ABF23. Select the ‘Room’ of the speaker your choice and submit your question or scan the QR code on the Fireside screens.

Can I get a selfie/signed book with the speakers?
Not all speakers will be available for this, for security reasons. So we can’t promise this. We will invite our speakers to mingle during the breaks.

 

Food

Will there be food and drinks?
All catering is included. We will provide plenty of (vegetarian) quality food to make sure you have full energy and focus during the seminar. In both breaks you can order as much coffee, tea and soda as you like.

Do you serve vegetarian/vegan food?
We will make sure there are plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, so you don’t need to send an email for this.

I have special needs (visually impaired, disabled)
We’ll be glad to help you. Please send us an e-mail at customercare@denkproducties.nl and we’ll make sure to find the best solution for you.

Do you take dietary requests into account? 
Yes, you can send your requests to customercare@denkproducties.nl You can do this up to two weeks before the start of the seminar. We will try to meet your requests as well as possible.
